  1. This is ridiculous! I count on the library as a place to study, use the computers, get together with my friends for group work. Since I'm in class all day and work most weeknights, Saturday was one of the only days I could devote entirely to schoolwork. Thanks a lot! (yeah, that's sarcasm)

  2. Really? Closed Saturday? What was I paying for again...oh yeah...sports teams and 12' tall bronze statues and not academics. Fantastic priorities here people!

  3. How do e-students get an id and password to access publications through the library?

  4. this is quite ridiculous that its not open every day of the week, this is the only place i can actually focus and do the work i need to do

  5. Utter bullsh*t. Library is the only place on campus where I can go to get the kind of help I need to navigate through the loosely thrown together piles of dung otherwise known as technology on this campus. Extremely poor decision, people.

  6. For the person who asked about getting access as an e-student... your professor's name should be in the drop-list on Docutek, you click on their name and then enter the password they use, they'll be able to tell you what it is. Hope that helps.

  7. I've posted the instructions to getting on the library databases in this news. If you need a logon and password to get on the university network you need to go to https://secure.edinboro.edu/SCOTSTools/

  8. NO EXCUSES PEOPLE! Not funding nor personel shortages will due... if you could raise money for a useless piece of bronze and plenty of new facilities, then you should have raised for the library if that was the issue. If there is a lack of available staff, then that too is bullshit- Grad' assistants and work study could fill those hours... furthermore employess work the hours the are told to work in the rest of the world, but then this is EUP where new buildings and statues are more important than available parking for commuter students, who dont have the luxury of living next door to their classrooms, and the convenience of library staff outwieghs the need of students who bankroll the paychecks! ...WORTHLESS!

  9. Edinboro is a facilitator of education? Well it is quite evident where priorities lye. Closed early Friday and sunday closed Saturday. That is a shame and Jeremy Brown should be ashamed for letting this happen!

  10. This was Jeremy Brown's decision. Neither the library staff or library faculty requested this or favored it. In fact, the libarians sent a letter of protest to the president asking that we be open.

I agree, this is not a decision that encourages excellence in academics.
