"How Cities Become Green" -- Dr. Henry Lawrence -- Brown Bag Speaker -- Feb. 18th at Noon

The Baron Forness Library Brown Bag Speaker Series welcomes Dr. Henry Lawrence of the Geosciences department with a talk entitled "How Cities became green: A history of urban trees and parks." The presentation begins at noon in Room 715 on February 18, high atop the foggy landscape of Edinboro University. A light refreshment will be available; bring your own lunch if you wish!

Dr. Henry Lawrence is author of "City Trees: A historical geography from the Renaissance through the Nineteenth Century" published by the University of Virginia Press in 2006 and a paperback in 2008. Dr. Lawrence will be available to sign copies of his book if you will bring your copy with you. His book is available at our campus bookstore and at all fine bookstores.
