Librarian Prepares Abstracts for Distance Learning.

Eleanor Randall has prepared and contributed abstracts for Library Services for Distance Learning: the Fifth Bibliography, which is to be published in 2010. Prof Randall is a member of the ACRL Distance Learning section and a Sci/Tech Library Mentor.

Library Authors

Dr. Monty L. McAdoo, Instructional Services Librarian, published an article in American Libraries, the Magazine of the American Library Association. Titled “Be the Bridge, Librarians Can Span the Gap Between Students and Their Instructors,” it was published in the December 2009 edition. The article was taken from Dr. McAdoo’s forthcoming book Building Bridges, Connecting Faculty, Students, and the College Library. The book is being published by ALA Editions.

Professor John H. Rosenhamer, Reference Librarian and student in the Master of Arts in Social Sciences program at Edinboro, had a book review published in the Fall 2009/Winter 2010 edition of Appalachian Journal, A Regional Studies Review. The article reviewed Women, Work, and Family in the Antebellum Mountain South by Wilma A. Dunaway.
